Game Audio Network Guild annonce les nominations aux prix 2023

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" et "God of War" sont parmi les nominés aux 21e prix annuels de la Game Audio Network Guild (GANG).

Les nominés couvrent 26 catégories allant de la musique à la conception sonore et au dialogue. La cérémonie de remise des prix aura lieu en personne pour la première fois depuis 2019 au Moscone Center de San Francisco le 23 mars.

L'ancien président du GANG, Paul Lipson, recevra le prix pour l'ensemble de ses réalisations. En tant que vice-président senior de l'interactif mondial chez Formosa Group, Lipson est un vétéran de l'industrie du divertissement interactif avec des crédits de jeux propriétaires et tiers, notamment "God of War", "The Last of Us", "Halo" et "Call of Duty".

"Je suis honoré et ravi d'accepter le Lifetime Achievement Award d'une organisation que j'ai défendue et d'une industrie que j'appelle chez moi depuis plus de vingt-cinq ans", a déclaré Lipson dans un communiqué. "L'excellence et l'impact des anciens récipiendaires sont stupéfiants, et il est humiliant de se tenir à leurs côtés pendant cette période historique dans le jeu et le divertissement interactif."

Le vote commence le 10 février et se termine le 21 février.
